Meet the Team: Keiana Wilson, Branch Manager, Virginia Operations
Building Careers. Making Opportunities. Making Connections.
For Keiana Wilson, recruiting is about more than filling positions. Itβs about understanding people, recognizing their potential, and helping them find opportunities that can make a difference in their lives.
As Branch Manager for Craft and Technical Solutions (CTS) Virginia Operations, Keiana oversees projects throughout Virginia while supporting several East Coast locations, including Georgia, Connecticut, Florida, and North Carolina. She works closely with clients, candidates, and internal teams to meet workforce needs while creating positive experiences along the way.
βIβm very results-driven and focused on meeting the needs of our clients while also creating great opportunities for our candidates,β Keiana shares.
Finding Purpose in Recruiting
Keiana entered skilled trades recruiting looking for a new challenge. Today, one of the most rewarding parts of her role is helping improve their careers and create better opportunities for their families.
She’s also passionate about introducing students and young adults to the skilled trades, showing them the rewarding career paths available beyond a traditional four-year college degree.
When evaluating candidates, Keiana values honesty, dependability, and open communication just as much as experience.
“You don’t have to know everything or have the perfect background,” she explains. “Being honest, dependable, and willing to learn can go a long way.”
One question she wishes more candidates would ask is, “What does success look like in this position?” Understanding expectations, she believes, helps candidates prepare for their roles and recognize opportunities to grow.
Beyond the Office
Outside of CTS, Keiana has a creative side. She’s an aspiring nail technician, a passion she finally had time to explore during COVID. What began as a hobby has become something she genuinely enjoys developing in her free time.
Whether she’s helping someone take the next step in their career or learning something new herself, Keiana brings a willingness to grow, take on challenges, and make meaningful connections.
