Crane Operator
Craft and Technical Solutions is an established Marine and Industrial Staffing Company with offices all over the country. We are currently in need of Crane Operators to join our team in El Paso, TX.
Description:
- Operate mobile, tower, crawler, or overhead cranes to lift and move materials safely and efficiently.
- Inspect cranes daily before operation, including cables, hooks, outriggers, and safety devices.
- Secure and position loads accurately according to job specifications.
- Communicate clearly with signal persons using hand signals or radio communication.
- Perform routine maintenance and report mechanical issues immediately.
- Follow OSHA, company, and site-specific safety regulations at all times.
- Maintain accurate logs of crane operations and inspections.
- Assist with rigging and signaling as required.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Valid crane operator certification (NCCCO or equivalent, as required).
- Minimum 5 years of experience operating cranes in construction or industrial environments.
- Strong understanding of load calculations and crane capacities.
- Ability to work at heights and in varying weather conditions.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
